In case you never visited the Airshow at the training range Axalp, you now can do this with your Microsoft Flight Simulator together by means of the Patrouille Suisse Extension Pack.

Take a seat in the cockpit of the F-5E Tiger II and follow the team during the training session for the Airshow Axalp. If you are a professional, you can be part of the team in the position of Tiger 4. The flight tracks are based on real flight data recorded by the Patrouille Suisse Team on October 6th, 2009.

You can as well go to the visitor area as spectator and enjoy following the Patrouille Suisse throughout the fantastic scenery of the Swiss Alps.

For all FS2004 enthusiasts, the concept of the FS2004 version has been entirely updated . Beside the flights over Axalp, all previous flights over Wangen-Lachen have been updated based on the new concept (see details below).

In order to realize the Patrouille Suisse Extension Pack, the real flight tracks and data were recorded by the Patrouille Suisse Tiger 1 & 6 during the training session over the range Axalp. After that, the flight data were converted and worked out for use with the replayer module by Matthias Neusinger.

Prerequisites (Software):

• Microsoft Flightsimulator FS2004 or FSX with SP2 or Acceleration Pack
• Basic Addon « Patrouille Suisse X » (includes both Version for FSX and FS2004, see also Bundle-Offer above).

• Entirely updated concept for replaying and following the Patrouille Suisse aerobatic team. It is based on the concept realized for FSX using a specially designed module in order to replay the original flight data during training at Wangen-Lachen and over the training range Axalp (October 2009). AI-Aircraft of the Patrouille Suisse Tiger are used for the replay. Compared to the first version, this means significant improvement such as:
  - timely unlimited sequence for replaying recorded flights.
  - smooth flight path during the replay by means of a flight track resolution of 100 milliseconds.
  - Smoke system is switching on and off
  - Various aircraft animations such as animated canopy and drag chute due to the use of AI-Aircraft
     for the replay of the Patrouille Suisse.
   
• Newly updated and predefined flights for replay and follow the Patrouille Suisse Team:
  - Entire training session of the airshow Axalp (22 min.) with original voice by the leader
    Daniel Siegenthaler "Sigi", Tiger 1. You can either follow the 6 ship formation or be part of the team
    in position of Tiger 2.
  - Training of the solo pilot Tiger 6 during the airshow training Axalp from preparation for the figure
    “Tunnel” to the "Finale Grande" with joining the main formation Tiger 1 to 5.
  - Relax and enjoy the Patrouille Suisse Trainings over the training range Axalp in the Swiss Alps as
    spectator and hear the original commands of the leader Daniel Siegenthaler "Sigi".
  - Return flight of the Tiger 5 and 6 from Axalp to the airbase Emmen with single landings and parking
     in Hangar 6.
  - Entire training session (22 min.) over the training ground at Wangen-Lachen with original voice by
    the leader Daniel Siegenthaler "Sigi", Tiger 1. You can either follow the 6-ship formation or be part
    of the team in the position of Tiger 2.
  - Training of the solo pilot Tiger 6 through the figure "Tunnel" to the Finale Grande.
  - Relax and enjoy the Patrouille Suisse Trainings over the training ground Wangen-Lachen with
    original commentary by Mario Winiger, speaker of the Patrouille Suisse.
  - Return flight with Tiger 1 to 4 from Wangen-Lachen to the airbase Emmen with break-off over the
    airbase and the following single landings and parking in hangar 6. You can either follow the 4-ship
    formation or be part of the team in the position of Tiger 4.
  - Take-off procedure at Emmen followed by formation training towards the area of Glarnerland with
    original voice by the leader Daniel Siegenthaler, "Sigi" and the traffic controller of the tower Emmen.
    You are part of the team in the position of Tiger 6.
  - Formation training of the figures "Delta" and "Superbox" from Interlaken to Emmen. You are part of
     the team in the position of Tiger 6.
   
• Use of AI-Aircraft for the replay with operating smoke system and with animations such as canopy open during taxi and drag chute after landing.
   
• The Patrouille Suisse AI-aircraft are visible on the traffic radar of the 2D-main panel during the training sessions.
   
• New paint scheme of the season 2009 and with the anniversary logo 45 years of Patrouille Suisse.
   

Issues of the first FS2004 version, which are corrected with this Extension Pack:

• The new concept does not depend on the daytime and does not need any pre-configuration such as "System time / Flight time" and any adjustment of the dynamic scenery (not needed anymore).
   
• In case Switzerland Professional Version 2 was installed after Patrouille Suisse Version 1 for FS2004, some compatibility problems occurred at the airbase Emmen. This has now been resolved with the Extension Pack.

• Extension of the Addon Patrouille Suisse X for FSX with real flight data recordings during the training over the range Axalp in October 2009.
   
• New missions for following the Patrouille Suisse aerobatic team. All tracks of the team are based on real flight data recorded by the Patrouille Suisse Team.
  - Entire training session (22 min.) over the training range Axalp with original Voice by the leader
    Daniel Siegenthaler "Sigi", Tiger 1. You can either follow the 6-ship formation or be part of the
    team in the position of Tiger 4.
  - Training of the solo pilot Tiger 6 during the air show training Axalp from the moment of separation
    of the solo pilots to the "Finale Grande".
  - Relax and enjoy the Patrouille Suisse Trainings over the training range Axalp as a spectator and
    hear the original commands of the leader Daniel Siegenthaler, "Sigi", Tiger 1.
  - Return flight of Tiger 5 and 6 from Axalp to the airbase Emmen with single landings and parking
    in Hangar 6.
  - Return flight with Tiger 1 to 4 from Wangen-Lachen to the airbase Emmen with break-off over
    the airbase and the following single landings and parking in hangar 6. You can either follow the
    4-ship formation or be part of the team in position of Tiger 4.
   
• Updated model of the AI-Aircraft according to FSX standard material and with animation of the canopy during taxi and the drag chute after landing.
   
• New paint scheme of the season 2009 and with the anniversary logo 45 years of Patrouille Suisse.

Issues of the first FSX version, which are corrected with this Extension Pack:

• On some systems, depending of graphic hardware and graphic configuration, the AI-aircraft were not visible properly. Sometimes only the smoke system was visible. This has now been resolved due to the update of the AI-model according to FSX material.
   
• When selecting an aircraft via the aircraft selection menu, the view point in the spot plane view was much too far. This has been resolves with this Extension Pack.
